  • Does your company carry General Liability Insurance?

    Absolutely! Wouldn’t do business without it. We have a 1,000,000 dollar coverage policy.

  • Is your company responsible for wires, pipes, and irrigation pipes?

    The home owner is responsible for any damages to pipes or wiring.

Payments

  • How do you charge for stump grinding or stump removal?

    We typically charge by the inch.

  • How much do you typically charge per inch?

    5-7 dollars an inch.

  • Do you give discounted rates for multiple stumps?

    We sure do! Just let us know how many you have and we can quote you at a discounted rate.

  • How soon is your company looking for payment once the job is complete?

    We take payments as soon as the job is complete.

  • What payment forms does your company accept?

    We can accept check, credit cards, or cash on site.

  • How soon do you provide an invoice?

    We provide you with an invoice upon completion of the project, before we leave the property.

  • How close can you grind next to a fence, concrete slab, or structure?

    We can safely get inches away from any structure.

  • Can you grind stumps on a hill?

    We sure can! Our machine is equipped with 4 wheel drive.

  • Do you remove the stump grinding mulch?

    Yes, we offer that as an additional service for an extra charge.

  • Is there a big mess left after you finish grinding a stump?

    There can be a big pile of mulch depending on the size of the stump. We can rake it smooth, or you can pay extra to remove the mulch.

  • How do you properly measure a stump?

    You measure not only the trunk, but all the major surrounding roots.

  • Can I plant a new tree in the same spot?

    Yes, we can grind the stump down to nothing upon request.

  • Why should I grind a stump?

    The most common reasons for stump grinding is for aesthetics. You may also want to have the stump removed so you don’t have to mow around it. Also to avoid termites, ants, insects, etc.

  • Will the stump grinding machine damage my driveway, lawn or sidewalk?

    We are very careful with your property, and our machine will not cause any damage. If your lawn is wet, we may decide to put down a barrier to drive on, such as plywood.

  • Do you have protective gear to keep the debris out of my pool?

    Yes, we have engineered a screen netting to keep mulch debris out of pools and ponds.

  • What size gate will your stump grinding machine fit through?

    The smallest opening we can get our machine through is 36 inches.

  • Do you guarantee your work?

    Absolutely.  We guarantee all work.  We are not done unless the customer is satisfied.

  • Can your machine take care of small stumps?

    Yes it can.

  • Can your machine grind large stumps?

    We can grind some of the biggest stumps in the area.

  • How long does it take to grind a stump?

    The time that it takes to grind a stump will depend on the size and quantity of the stumps we are grinding. It can take anywhere from 15 minutes to 2 hours!

  • How deep can your machine grind below the surface?

    Our Machines can grind 16-18 inches below the surface.  We also offer a shallow grind where we go 4-6 inches below grade.

  • Do you guys grind the surface roots?

    Absolutely.  We can remove any roots above the surface of the dirt.

  • Can you remove the entire stump?

    Yes, your average tree roots are approximately 12-14 Inches below surface.

  • How many days will it take your company to come grind my stump after I call you?

    1-2 days. Sometimes same day depending on schedule.

  • How far should the trunk of the tree be cut down?

    Flush with the ground.

  • What happens when I don't have a chainsaw large enough to cut flush with the ground?

    There will be an additional cost for us to flush cut the trunk.

  • Do you have the ability to cut the trunk flush with the ground?

    Yes we do.  We carry a chain saw with us at all times.

  • Do you blow off any debris from driveways, sidewalks, concrete, etc, when you are done stumping?

    Yes we do. We carry a blower with us at all times.

How to Measure Your Stump

It is important to get accurate measurements of your tree stump. Many people ask the best way to go about that.

Here is our advice:

To measure the proper width and height of the stump be sure to measure from the furthest point where the roots are visible and the lowest point on the ground to the very top of the stump.
